Lake Michigan known as michi gami in Ojibwa or large lake as it is translated. From dunes, lighthouses,  beaches, boating, fishing, swimming and water sports Lake Michigan spans the entire coast of Western Michigan. It is the only Great Lake to lie entirely in the United States as well.
